About Telangana Startup Grants
The Telangana state government supports startups through 12 active funding schemes covering seed grants, incubation support, marketing assistance, and tax benefits. Most schemes are open to startups registered in Telangana that are DPIIT-recognised or eligible for recognition. Below are all currently active programmes.
T-Spark
Telangana programme supporting early/seed-stage startups with prototyping, talent, R&D and marketing help plus mentoring; cohort of 155 startups.
AIC T-Hub SpaceTech Program (Orbit)
Incubation programme for early-stage space-technology startups; takes no equity and charges a fee, and gives structured access to grants and investors rather than a stated grant amount.
Telangana SGST Reimbursement for Startups
Reimbursement of the SGST paid by a registered startup for three years from incorporation, on turnover up to Rs 1 crore a year.
Telangana Grassroot/Rural Impact Startup Grants (Prototype, Pilot, Seed)
Milestone-paid prototype, pilot and seed grants for recognised grassroot/rural-impact startups under G.O.Ms.No.8 (27-07-2021); each grant type usable once.
TSIRI Incentives (Telangana State Innovation for Rural Impact)
Rs 30 lakh corpus for 18 rural-impact innovators covering seed, prototype, pilot and procurement grants under G.O.Ms.No.8.
T-Fund
State-backed early-stage fund, managed by T-Hub, that invests in Telangana tech startups mainly via equity or convertible instruments, alongside angels and VCs.
Telangana Performance-Related Grant
Annual grant linked to turnover for Telangana startups showing growth, available for three years from incorporation.
Telangana International Marketing Support
Reimbursement of trade-show and international marketing costs for Telangana startups, subject to the Startup Council's yearly budget.
Telangana Recruitment Assistance
Per-employee hiring support for Telangana startups that employ state-domiciled staff for at least eight months.
Kotak BizLabs Season 3 (T-Hub)
T-Hub programme with Kotak Mahindra Bank giving catalytic grant funding to select high-growth startups plus mentoring and investor access.
Kotak BizLabs Season 3 at T-Hub
Grant-backed accelerator from T-Hub with Kotak Mahindra Bank for revenue-generating startups, with no equity taken.
