About

Sunday Robotics is building Memo, a home robot designed to handle chores like washing dishes, folding laundry, and making espresso — set to open a beta in late 2026. What sets Memo apart is how it learns: instead of collecting data from cameras inside customers' homes, Sunday employs "Memory Developers" who wear a proprietary Skill Capture Glove while doing real household tasks in their own homes, and that motion data trains Memo's onboard AI directly — the company's pitch is "what the glove does, Memo learns," sidestepping the privacy concerns that come with in-home monitoring. Memo adds new skills roughly monthly (sock-folding shipped in October 2025) and is built with passive stability (it won't topple if powered off) and compliant control, so it can be safely nudged or redirected mid-task. Current hand-built units cost around $20,000; the company expects mass manufacturing to cut that by more than half before a public launch price is announced.
