About

General Intuition builds AI world models — systems that learn to perceive, predict, and act inside interactive environments rather than just process text. Its flagship release, MIRA, is a playable multiplayer world model trained on 10,000 hours of gameplay data from Rocket League, running in real time at 20 frames per second and reacting to the actual keys players press; it was built in collaboration with AI lab Kyutai and Epic Games. The company's core argument, as CEO Pim de Witte has put it publicly, is that today's AI is "book smart" — everything it knows came from text, images, and video — and that to get "street smart," AI needs realistic virtual playgrounds where it can act, fail, and learn, much like human intelligence developed through real-world interaction rather than reading alone. General Intuition has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, Axios, and CNBC. It was founded by Pim de Witte (CEO) along with Eloi Alonso, Vincent Micheli, and Adam Jelley, and raised a $133.7M Seed in October 2025 (Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst) followed by a $320M Series A in June 2026 led by Khosla Ventures.
