UP Startup Policy 2026 - Sustenance Allowance

Rs 20,000 per month for 2 years (about Rs 4.8 lakh)

Funding available

Monthly stipend paid quarterly for two years to founders of Uttar Pradesh startups that are still at or before the prototype stage. Replaces the 2020 policy rate of Rs 15,000-17,500 for one year.

Eligibility Criteria

Startups registered on both DPIIT and the StartInUP portal, at or before prototype stage; normally incubated in a StartInUP-recognised incubator with its recommendation.

Extra 50% boost schemes for women, Divyangjan, transgender and EWS founders apply to prototype and seed grants
