About Tamil Nadu Startup Grants
The Tamil Nadu state government supports startups through 3 active funding schemes covering seed grants, incubation support, marketing assistance, and tax benefits. Most schemes are open to startups registered in Tamil Nadu that are DPIIT-recognised or eligible for recognition. Below are all currently active programmes.
Tamil Nadu SC/ST Startup Fund
Fund investing in startups founded solely by Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs, run by StartupTN.
Tamil Nadu Space Tech Fund
INR 10 crore state fund through TANSIM giving matching grants or equity to space-technology startups with proven concepts and third-party funding.
TANSEED (Tamil Nadu Startup Seed Grant Fund) 8.0
Equity-linked seed grant from StartupTN for early-stage Tamil Nadu startups, with StartupTN taking a 3% support stake and a year-long accelerator.
