Up to 100% central assistance for approved extension/R&D/innovation proposals (amount depends on proposal)

Funding available

Livestock department scheme covering extension, R&D and innovation, with incentives for startups solving problems in sheep, goat, poultry, pig, feed and fodder. A Startup Grand Challenge is planned under it.

Eligibility Criteria

ICAR and central institutes, state university farms and other credible institutions and startups; proposals go through the parent organisation or State Animal Husbandry Department and the NLM portal.
